Katrin Diesner is an independent portrait and documentary photographer with a strong interest in people and nature. She focuses on stories about our connection to nature and is passionate about alpine and maritime topics.

Nevertheless, she loves to move among a large dancing crowd. Driven by loud bass, surrounded by happy people and without a single thought in her head.

Katrin studied photo design at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and lived the buzzing city life in Berlin and Paris before moving to the foothills of the Alps in Southern Germany.

Besides her photography, she became a passionate mountain hiking guide, always in search of the last patches of wilderness and the scent of adventure. Her favorite place to be is outside... in deep forests, wide meadows, high mountains, quiet lakes and by the rough sea.
