Katrin Diesner is an editorial and portrait photographer who focuses on stories about our connection to nature. She is particularly fascinated by the wild and primal aspects of nature and humanity and particularly enjoys photographing alpine and maritime themes.
In addition to her photography, she follows the call of adventure as a mountain hiking guide, always searching for the last remaining pockets of wilderness. She enjoys spending her time outdoors in deep forests, by tranquil lakes, on wide meadows, by the rough sea and in the high mountains.
Katrin studied photo design at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and spent several years in Berlin and Paris before finding a new home on the northern edge of the Alps near Munich.
She dreams of a small stone house in France with a view of the sea.
